Molly witnesses a mother cheetah teaching her three children to kill wild animals while the hyena runs around and the eagle waits in line.

The cheetah hunt starts early in the morning and involves more than fantastic sprints – up to 60 miles per hour. As soon as they could walk, the cheetahs ran back and forth, clapping and falling on the ground, chasing and hitting their siblings.

When the babies are between eight months and one year old, the mother releases about a third of the meat she catches, and at least the babies sometimes kill their own prey. The rapid progress during this time is enormous. Two months after the mother became pregnant again, babies between the ages of one and 18 months had to feed themselves.
