February is undoubtedly the best time of the year to see the wildebeest as the nomadic herd is in full breeding season. This usually happens in Ndutu area of Ngorongoro Conservation, and Southern of the Serengeti, where millions of wildebeests congregate to eat grass and give birth to their young ones.
